Obtain Cheaper Mobile Calls

Thursday, March 18th, 2010

Are you becoming frustrated at how much are you being asked to pay when making a mobile phone call? Would you like to obtain a lower mobile phone bill each month for the same usage? Would you like to be able to use your mobile phone abroad without it costing you the earth? I am unsure as to how the readers of this article will have answered these questions; up until a few months ago I would have answered all of them in the positive. I have, however, now managed to obtain much cheaper mobile phone call rates after shopping around on the internet. It is now great to be able to make such cheap mobile calls and to achieve such a large business cost cutting.

Now I would like to make it clear that I am not attempting to sell you something here. I am by no way an expert in the field of offering cheaper communications; I am in fact somebody who sells bargain holiday deals.

I suppose my whole frustration with the amount that I was being charged in conjunction with my mobile phone usage came about after I returned from Lanzarote last year. I had spent a fortnight in the Playa Blanca area of the Island. During the vacation I sent just four text messages and made three small phone calls to my family back home in the UK.

When the monthly mobile telephone bill arrived, three weeks after our return to the UK, I could not believe the amount they had charged me. I could not undertand it, I thought it just had to be an error. Below was the reply that I received from one of the customer services workers:

“These are our rates when phoning and texting from abroad”.

I then decided to start searching on the net for a company that could offer me a better deal. I went onto Google and after making a few searches I was able to obtain a much cheaper rate.

Saturday, March 6th, 2010

So how has 2009 been for your company thus far? Are you ahead of your targets for this stage of the year? I hope, for the sake of your business, that you have answered both of these questions in the positive; I am however fully aware that the majority of the readers of this article will in fact be struggling. During the course of my week I meet a lot of business owners and from what I am hearing things are very tough out there.

So what can a business do in order to survive this recession? Well a number of the company directors that I have spoken with have contracted a cost reduction service to enable them to reduce their business overheads. Having this extra pot of cash, from the savings that they have made, is of massive benefit as we are all very much aware as to how scarce money is right now.

Just a quick point before I continue; I am not a cost cutting expert therefore please do not think that I am trying to sell you something here. I am in fact a person who offers various forms of stuttering treatment aimed at helping people to achieve fluency.

In which areas could a business potentially reduce their costs? There are, of course, many however the more obvious ones would be the electricity, gas and the telephone. Then there are the telephone charges; there are many company’s now offering a “cheap phone calls” to mobile phone service”. There is also cleaning, gardening, broadband, I.T, to name but a few. There are, as previously stated, many many more.

There has never been a better time to think about ways in which your business could cut costs. I personally believe that we are now very much in the middle of this recession and I am yet to see any of those infamous “green shoots”.

How To Obtain Cheap Calls

Friday, February 5th, 2010

The news coming out in the last forty-eight hours is that Dubai is finding it hard to repay its huge level of debts and has asked for a period of deferrment. Is this such a shock? Gold plated this gold plated that – it is one thing to be flash but you need to be able to pay the money back at the end of the day. But let’s face it Dubai are not the only ones who are finding things a bit tough at the moment. Many of us are in need of a little help and this is where we need to start becoming a little more prudent with our finances.

I used to work for a very professional group of cost reduction experts; they would help businesses as well as individuals to save money on their monthly bills – from cleaning to obtaining cheap mobile calls they knew about cost cutting.

The most popular form of saving money is known by obtain cheaper telephone call rates. These charges vary greatly between companies and it is very much worth the effort to shop around in the quest to find an organisation that will grant you cheap calls.

Then we come to the utilities; the gas and the electric. Yet again by doing a bit of homework and by making a few enquiries could help us save a small fortune.

And how about our savings? What rate of interest are you receiving for your savings? Is it a competitive rate in comparison to other banks and building societies? You will be surprised just how many people are on rates as low as 0.1% and are not even aware of it.

I am not attempting to sell you anything from writing this article and I am by no means involved within any of these cost reduction sectors – I am purely relaying my experiences of such matters. I am now working in a career selling external doors and I also offer a web promotion service on a part time basis.

As you have seen from the above paragraphs there are many ways of saving money for those of us who are willing to spend a little bit of time sourcing the best deals.

How To Obtain Low Business Call Rates

Saturday, November 14th, 2009

Let’s face it things are getting quite tough out there in the business world. The recession is starting to bite and company profits are starting to become affected. The majority of small businesses are looking at ways of making cost reductions; some are laying off members of staff and others are finding different ways of reducing their overheads. These days obtaining cheaper business call rates is one of the most popular forms of cost reduction strategies. No longer are businesses accepting paying over the top for their call rates when in reality they can receive the same service at a much lower cost.

Now before I continue I must point out that I am in no way a cost cutting specialist, therefore I am not trying to sell you anything here. I am in fact a speech coach who runs a stammering course; I also have an interest in becoming a foster carer for my sins!

So now we have established that this is not a sales gimmick let us continue! That sounded rather abrupt. Cheap calls are now all the rage and there are specialist companies out there who are experts at finding you the cheapest call rates and therefore enabling you to save the most money. This is what they call in the city of London “a no brainer”.

I was reading an article last week about this very subject and one of the businesses that had managed to save a decent amount of money by this cost reduction method, made quite an interesting point. He stated the following:

“I am more than happy at the savings that we have made and at just how much lower our telephone bills have become. There is however a part of me that feels like somebody has been stealing from me for the last ten years, the period that our company has been in business. I really wish that I had acted sooner.”

You may think that this is merely sales jargon and in a way I suppose it could well be; it did however make me sit up and think.
